A Report on the Identification & Documentation of Sculptures Found at Koldhe, Ratnagiri
During the fieldwork undertaken in Koldhe village of Lanja Taluka, three principal temples—dedicated to Vishnu, Surya, and Mahalakshmi—were comprehensively documented and analyzed. These temples were selected for their architectural integrity, distinctive sculptural elements, and sustained ritual significance. Together, they exemplify the religious plurality and artistic syncretism characteristic of the Konkan region.
